Little Orchard Cider & Music Festival announces Liverpudlian band The Zutons as the final headline performance for this year’s apple-infused event. Joined by REEF, The Wurzels, Skinny Lister, Mad Dog Mcrea and Dr Meaker, Cornwall’s favourite cider party will take place on Friday 13th – Sunday 15th September 2019 at Healey’s Cyder Farm. Tickets are available now via the website.

Formed in Liverpool in 2001, indie rock band The Zutons will headline festival proceedings on Saturday 14th September. Having released their first album ‘Who Killed The Zutons’ back in 2004 which spawned hit singles ‘Pressure Point’, ‘Remember Me’, ‘Confusion’ and ‘You Will You Won’t’, it later went on to sell over 600,000 copies (Double Platinum) in the UK alone. The band then recorded a further two albums, ‘Tired of Hanging Around’ (including their song ‘Valerie’, which has become one of the biggest songs of this millennium) and their last album ‘You Can Do Anything’ in 2008. Excited to be back on the UK festival circuit, the British four-piece are ready to headline the 7th edition of Little Orchard Cider & Music Festival.

Bristol’s prize asset Dr Meaker, are considered by many to be the UK’s best live drum and bass act. With the ability to combine amazing soul vocalists, a brass section and a heavy rhythm section including drums, bass guitar, samples and synths, the high-energy band will join the Little Orchard line up for 2019. Having filled dance floors and fields across the country for the past twelve years, Dr Meaker continue their mission to take drum & bass across the world, Bristol style!

Plymouth-born Land of the Giants will bring their foot-stomping party and contagious enthusiasm to the grounds of Healey’s Cyder Farm on Sunday 15th September. With the ability to pull crowds to tents to groove until they sweat, festival guests can expect a highly addictive show from the funky Devon-based band.

Starting out in London as a party band born out of school friendships, Imperial Leisure continue to have a reputation for delivering fun and energic live performances. Headlining the BBC Introducing Stage on Saturday night, the alt/ska group have previously played Glastonbury, Boomtown Fair and The Secret Garden Party.

Sunderland lads, The Big Sets, will return to Little Orchard Cider & Music Festival with a sensational blues-and-funk set that will have hips swinging. Playing on Sunday evening, this year’s line-up will also include the already announced REEF, The Wurzels, Skinny Lister and Mad Dog Mcrea plus Black Friday, Thrill Collins, Belfast Busker, The Brim and Me & The Devil.

Festival organiser Ian Whittaker comments: “After the success of last year’s festival and the new layout, we are all excited to push the event into new directions once again. The seventh edition is guaranteed to be a memorable one.”

Away from the music side of things, the second round of Rattler Olympics will fuel the competitive side of this year’s guests by offering a programme of welly wanging, barrel pushing and apple bobbing. With games planned for all the family, Little Orchard has a host of awards and prizes up for grabs.
Easing tired minds and fuzzy heads, The Zen Den will pop up in the grounds of the festival with a variety of energising classes including Kundalini yoga, laughter yoga and Arcoyoga.

Weekend Tickets are currently on sale priced at £55 (plus £4.50 booking fee). Little Orchard Cider & Music Festival operates a tiered ticket system with prices changing over time. An allocation of tickets is reserved for each tier, this will close when the allocation of tickets is sold out. Glamping options are also available.
