Join us for a relaxed afternoon recital:

International performers Jessica Quiñones (USA, flute) and Petros Bouras (Greece, piano) will be playing uplifting sounds to bring in the summer solstice, from classical works to tangos to modern tunes. This engaging programme of music celebrates the theme of the summer light and is guaranteed to bring a smile to your face!

Short Bios:

Pianist Petros Bouras was born in Athens, Greece. As an international performer he has been a concerto soloist with the Greek National Orchestra and has delivered numerous recitals and chamber music concerts in USA, Switzerland, Germany, UK, France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Armenia, Luxembourg and Poland in various concert halls. He recently became the first Greek pianist to perform on Gulangyu, the piano island of China. This year he has recently recorded an album for Naxos with the Galan Trio, consisting of the principal string players of the Greek National Opera’s Orchestra. This is his second recital visit to Cornwall, where he will be performing a series of recitals with Jessica. For more about Petros, please see

American Flautist Jessica Quiñones is originally from the hot and dry deserts of New Mexico, USA. As a classical flautist with conservatoire training, she is an international performer across a variety of musical styles. She holds a PhD in flute performance and ethnomusicology, which has seen her play flute in numerous settings, including tango in Argentina and Bollywood tracks across India. In 2019 she has recently released a solo album of Astor Piazzolla’s Flute Works. She currently resides in St. Agnes, Cornwall, and gives regular performances and workshops across the UK, runs specialist music courses, and has an active teaching studio.
