Creative Kernow, based at Krowji, is the umbrella organisation for the following nine projects. Together we support the production, promotion and distribution of work by creative practitioners in Cornwall because we believe in creativity's transformative power and want more people to benefit from it.

The Countrymen

Six middle-aged musicians with tight four-part harmony vocals and a token Cornishman. With a relaxed and light-hearted presentation style, they take the audience on a journey through the history and culture of Cornwall, featuring their own arrangements of traditional and contemporary songs, as well as some original material. Interspersed with the occasional pop cover to lighten the mood when required, there is no mistaking that to a man, they love their county with a passion.

Since their highly successful appearance at The Newlyn Fish Festival in the summer of 2017, they have been becoming increasingly popular across Cornwall with appearances on both radio and TV and numerous other festival appearances including The Falmouth International Sea Shanty Festival, The Rock Oyster Festival, Falmouth Week and more recently, the main stage at Looe Saves The Day.
Based in North Cornwall, this is a rare opportunity to see them live in Penwith, although their CD, Trees On The Hill is available on their website
