Creative Kernow, based at Krowji, is the umbrella organisation for the following nine projects. Together we support the production, promotion and distribution of work by creative practitioners in Cornwall because we believe in creativity's transformative power and want more people to benefit from it.

Registering to use the site

Membership is free, with it you can access and add to the comprehensive online music listings, promote your self, business, band or venue in our online directory, receive the most up to date and relevant music industry news and access a wealth of resources and exclusive events to help support and develop your music business or organisation. Once you have submitted your details check your email inbox for a confirmation email, if no email has shown up be sure to check your spam / junk folder.

Click on the link in the email to activate your account and log in by clicking the orange button in the top right corner of the page – this is how you will log in to edit your profile and add events  going forward. You will know when you are logged in as there will be an orange bar across the top of the site containing some links that you can use to view the website dashboard and update your profile.



Your Profile

Your member profile contains:
Information about you
Contact details
Links to social media

To add and edit your profile click on the dashboard link on the top left…

Choose which sort of profile you would like – Musician, Music Producer or Music Educator.

Add a profile image by clicking the featured image button on the right hand side of the screen – you may have to scroll down a bit to find it…

Add information about you and be sure to scroll down and fill in the boxes regarding contact details and social media accounts (don’t worry you can always come back and edit your profile at any time).

Once you are happy with your profile – click ‘submit / update’ located on the top right handside of the screen which in the first instance will tell our administrator that you have added your profile and they will ensure it goes live with 24 hours on working days.


Adding Events

You can list an event or a business by using the relevant links on the left of your dashboard. If you cannot see your dashboard and only the front end of the website (the visual version with the orange bar running along the top) then click on the link on the top left of the orange bar and select ‘dashboard’ you should now see a list of options on the lefthand side – click the one appropriate to your needs and fill in the relevant fields for ‘event’, ‘business’ or ‘musician’ to list your event or music business or yourself as a musician.

Using Images

To ensure that your images translate to the website as accurately as possible please ensure that they are RGB in colour format, 72dpi and either a jpg or png – preferably at a file size less than 1.5mb. If you want to crop your image or change it in any way you can do so with software such as Adobe Photoshop or for free online using the website Ribbet

Submitting Images for Use in the Home Page Slider

If you are submitting an image to be used on our homepage slider for an event and wish for it to crop or display in a certain way please ensure that it is the following dimensions 1170 pixels x 431 pixels at 72dpi and in the RGB colour mode.
