Creative Kernow, based at Krowji, is the umbrella organisation for the following nine projects. Together we support the production, promotion and distribution of work by creative practitioners in Cornwall because we believe in creativity's transformative power and want more people to benefit from it.

Little Lapin

Little Lapin is the moniker of Cornwall based singer songwriter Lucy Hill.   Her indie folk music has captured the attention of BBC 6 Music DJs  Steve Lamacq, Gideon Coe and Tom Robinson.   ‘Remember the Highs’ – her debut album, was voted “Best International Album of 2015” by Unsigned and Independent Music Magazine.

Little Lapin’s latest alt country release  “Narrabeen” captured the attention of BBC Introducing Cornwall and subsequently Radio 2 host Bob Harris who featured it on his Radio 2 Bob Harris Sunday show.

More recently Little Lapin has been working on a dream pop project with music heavyweight Ben Barter who is based in LA and plays drums for Lorde.   They met in New Zealand when Little Lapin was based there over seven years ago and Ben Barter remixed her first single ‘Silent Tears’.   Their latest collaboration has shades of Cocteau Twins and The Chromatics.
